It's time to start planning your entries for the 20th Anniversary Quilt Show.  The show will be held November 6 & 7 at Valley Lutheran School in Cedar Falls.  We hope to see many beautiful quilts. Click here for poster to download and print.

Here is a list of the categories:
(You may enter FIVE quilts - two per category maximum.)

CATEGORIES:
Bed Quilt
Perimeter must be 280”.  (Perimeter equals the sum of all sides added together.

• One Needle 

Pieced, quilted and bound by one person.

• Appliqué’

Uses appliqué’ as the predominant construction technique.

• Traditional

Predominantly pieced.  May be hand or machine quilted.

Small Quilt
Perimeter must be smaller than 280”.

• One Needle

Pieced, quilted and bound by one person.

• Appliqué’ 

Uses appliqué’ as the predominant construction technique.

• Traditional 

Predominantly pieced.  May be hand or machine quilted.

Miniature Quilt
Any quilt that measures less than 24” on any side.
Overall patterns reflect proportionately reduced scale, and individual blocks no larger than 4” square.  All work must be done by only one person.
Completely by Hand
No machines may be used at any time on this piece except to sew the binding on.  The back of the binding must be hand sewn to the quilt.  No Size Limit.  May be done by more than one person but must be totally completed by hand except for the binding as stated above.
2010 Quilt Show Challenge Quilt
Theme:  Inspired by the past; Creating the future.
No size limit.  Must depict the theme.  Any technique may be used.
Art Quilt  
No size limit.  Uses non-traditional techniques, beading, thread painting, etc.  Work 
May be done by hand or machine.
Novice Quilt
No Size Limit.  Quilter has less than 2 years experience and has never entered a 
quilt show.
Miscellaneous
Quilting used in other ways - i.e. Purses, Clothing, Tree skirts, etc.
